| Helmet in the style of: CLASSIC NAVAJO FIRST PHASE CHIEF'S BLANKET, UTE STYLE, cir |
At first glance, the design of a First Phase chief's blanket is so direct and understated as to appear uninteresting. However, when viewed in the context of a refined or minimal aesthetic this textile takes on new meaning. While variegations in the browns and blues, placement of lazy lines, and asymmetrical quirks create subtle inticacies of pattern, the pure hues and clean lines reflect a restraint which is "classical." - Jack Silverman
